Google Flow is Google's AI filmmaking tool. It is built on Veo, Google DeepMind's video model (currently Veo 3.1), together with Gemini and the Nano Banana image model. Generate HD clips with native sound effects, dialogue and music from text or images, then string clips into a full story in the scene editor.
Key features
Text to video: describe the shot, action, lighting and sound.
Ingredients to video: upload people, objects and settings so the same character stays consistent across shots.
Frames to video: give a first and last frame and it fills in the motion.
Extend and Scenebuilder: extend clips and edit them into a finished short.
Camera control: specify moves such as dolly, pan and tilt.

Pick a quality level: use the fast level to experiment cheaply, then high quality for the final cut.
Assemble: arrange and extend clips in Scenebuilder and export.
Tips
Try several versions on the fast level before spending credits on high quality.
For consistent characters, use Ingredients with the same character image.
Describe the audio (dialogue, ambience, music) — Veo generates it too.
