Open ports such as 22, 80 and 443 in the security group.
Connect over SSH with your key and deploy your app.
Set billing alerts under Billing → Budgets.
Tips
Stop or terminate unused instances; Elastic IPs and snapshots also cost money.
Turn on MFA after signing in.
Never run mining, spam or other prohibited workloads, or the account will be suspended.
