A US Apple account is an Apple Account (formerly Apple ID) with the region set to the United States. Signed in to the App Store on an iPhone, iPad or Mac, it lets you download apps that are not available in your own region and pay for subscriptions in US dollars. Top it up with a US App Store gift card to pay inside apps.
The accounts for this product are categorized into two types, depending on the circumstances:
① Accounts with full security details (account, password, three security questions and date of birth): you can change the password and other details directly with the security information.
② Accounts without full security details (account and password only): change the password after "changing the bound phone number" (a Chinese mainland number works).
Options: "iCloud not enabled" suits downloading apps and subscriptions; "iCloud enabled" lets you use iCloud and turn on two-factor authentication, better for long-term use; the "Shadowrocket account" has already purchased Shadowrocket, so you can download it after signing in.
① Please note that the email address associated with this account is a placeholder and may not actually exist. You cannot gain control of this Apple ID via the email address, as these addresses are generated randomly and may already be registered to someone else. For the sake of your account security, it is essential that you change the password, update your security questions, add a mobile phone number (a mainland Chinese mobile number is acceptable and will not trigger a change in your account region), and add a recovery email address to prevent any potential loss. (If the account has iCloud enabled, it is linked to a valid, real email address; you may use it with confidence.)
② Don't add gift card balance to an account that is less than a month old: risk controls and hacking risks may get the account disabled or lost, and you may lose money.
③ Bind a phone number (a Chinese number works and does not change the account region) and a rescue email as soon as you sign in; accounts with iCloud enabled can turn on two-factor authentication. See How to change the phone number on an Apple Account.
