About this product
Skyfall AI is an AI research lab in San Francisco. Its founders previously built Maluuba, which Microsoft acquired in 2017, and its advisors include Keras creator François Chollet. The company builds "Enterprise World Models": instead of predicting the next token, they learn how a business or physical system works, simulate cause and effect, and plan over long horizons.
Its first product, SKY-001, is an engineering world model that starts with design and engineering. From a 2D image or a text prompt it generates several rough 3D options in parallel, breaks the chosen design into parts layer by layer (from large structural pieces down to screws), draws 2D sketches and extrudes them into 3D parts the way a designer would, and finally assembles everything into a complete 3D model. Skyfall reports 51–125x faster results and about 150–210x lower cost per task than leading LLMs on 3D and BIM modelling tasks (company figures).
