Runway is a leading AI video platform whose Gen models turn text and images into video with strong character consistency...
About this product
Runway (Runway ML) is a New York generative AI company founded in 2018 and a pioneer of AI video, used in films, ads and music videos. Its main models and tools today:
Gen-4.5: the latest video model, more cinematic with better physics and scene understanding, from text or images.
Aleph: a video editing model that changes existing footage from text — add, remove or replace objects, relight, restyle, create new camera angles or the next shot.
References: upload character or scene references to keep characters and style consistent across shots.
Act-Two: drive a character's expressions and movement with a video of your own performance.
Image generation and editing tools: background removal, frame interpolation, outpainting and more.
Which plan to choose
To try it: the free "Account" with a few one-time credits.
Occasional short videos: Standard — monthly credits, no watermark, latest models.
Regular creators: Pro — more credits and extras such as custom voices.
Heavy use / studios: Max — the most credits.
Credits depend on clip length and model; see Runway's pricing page.
